Yes, the official Antutu Benchmark app is safe when downloaded from a trustworthy source; it only requests storage permission to save results.

The app runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and newer, but newer versions may provide more accurate results.

An internet connection is not required for the test itself, though it is needed to download updates or view online score comparisons.

Scores reflect synthetic test performance and are useful for comparing devices, but real‑world usage may differ.

Yes, Antutu publishes a public leaderboard where you can see how your score ranks against many other phones and tablets.

The free version includes ads; a paid, ad‑free version may be offered by the developer on official channels.

Updates are released periodically; the latest version listed here is 12.0.2, updated on 12 October 2026.

Root access is not required and generally does not affect the test, but some security settings on rooted devices may block installation.

You can clear the app’s data in Settings → Apps → Antutu Benchmark → Storage → Clear data to remove previous scores.

This usually means the APK is corrupted, you lack enough storage, or a previous version of the app is still present; reinstall after clearing the old version.
